The home

Watch the lift from the balcony.

Modern, bright, and right in the Village.

Mountain Lodge 144 is a rare one-bedroom with two real beds and no sleeper sofa. The balcony looks at Ballhooter, so you can watch your crew ride up and ski down. It’s on the first floor, just a few steps down the hallway to the snow.

Upgraded for 2025 with new furniture, mattresses, flooring, and a new kitchen, steps from the Village shops, restaurants, and Ballhooter.

The bedroom has a king with a 14-inch mattress, and the living room has a queen Murphy bed with a plush memory foam mattress. The kitchen is new for 2025. There’s a stackable washer and dryer, an electric fireplace, and a boot dryer. It’s on the first floor just off the main lobby, so unloading is easy, and the building exit to Ballhooter with rental ski lockers is close by. One parking pass for the private lot, space permitting.

We came to mountain bike-perfect location. We walked everywhere. Condo was clean and great to relax and rest after a day of riding. Right off the chair lift which was fun to people watch. Would recommend and stay again.

On the pricier side for what you're getting in Snowshoe. Location was good, and the lodge was quiet and private (we did come in the summer though). The kitchen lacked a few items - most importantly an oven mitt. It was also interesting that some of the cookie sheets / glassware didn't fit in the sub sized oven. Overall clean, but there were some areas that had lots of hair / dust - it got picked up by our socks - and the bedroom had a body odor smell we couldn't locate.

We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Monica's timely communications, we had all of the info needed for check in and checkout and didn't have to waist time trying to look everything up. She also provided info on where to eat and activities that we found very helpful.

Mountain Lodge 144 - Perfect! We need a last minute place to stay and Monica had the perfect unit! Clean, neat, and appealing. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the closeness to the main lobby and area that looked over the mountain. Great places for us to sit, relax, and meet a few new people.

ML 1 brnice little condo unit very close to slope access. We were only two people so plenty big enough for us. Easy check-in and loading our stuff in/out. Will definately stay here in the future.

Perfect location (very short walk) to ski in/out. The view of the slopes from the room and the updated condo made our anniversary trip a wonderful one!
