A team on the mountain.
VisitSnowshoe now has a local team at Snowshoe to help guests with whatever they need during a stay. Help comes from people who are here, not a call center.
VisitSnowshoe is owned by Mike and Monica. It is a small family business, not a company with hundreds of listings and customer service agents overseas.

The family has been coming to Snowshoe for years, and the kids race on the Snowshoe ski team.

The business grew out of weekly trips to Snowshoe to ski and to support their kids, who race on the Snowshoe ski team. The family logs hundreds of hours on the mountain every year.

That time on the snow shapes how the homes are chosen and set up: where the ski access really is, how gear gets dried overnight, and how a big group fits around one table.
Snowshoe is remote, which is part of why people love it. VisitSnowshoe is set up so guests are not on their own up there.

Snowshoe sits high and far from everything, which is a big part of the appeal. VisitSnowshoe keeps a supply depot at the base of the mountain, set up to serve guests when they need it most.
The townhouse is terrific and exactly as described. You can literally ski from the back door. Monica is incredibly responsive and just makes things easy. Would stay again in a heartbeat.Gabrielle B.
The house is perfectly appointed, comfortable, homey, and welcoming in every way. They seemingly thought of EVERYTHING. The kitchen has what you'd need for eating in, the beds are comfortable (I slept like a log), and the large room with the enormous TV and a PS5 on the ground level is a great “getaway” for a segment of your party, or to send the kids down there to have their own party.Tom C.
