Big deck, big game room, big group.

Step out the back door and you’re on the slopes in moments. Black Bear 32 sits just steps from the Powderidge lift, one of the most convenient spots on the mountain.

In bike season the deck comes alive, with a grill, seating, and a fire pit table next to the private 8-person hot tub. Black Bear Crossing’s pavilion, gas fire pit, and bike wash are right outside.

Built for large groups and multi-family trips. The main level has an upscale, fully stocked kitchen with a gas range, a long dining table plus bar seating, and a living room with a gas fireplace. The large foyer has room for boots, skis, and gear. Downstairs, the game room has a pool table, shuffleboard, a PS5, a sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette with a second full-size fridge. A tankless water heater means everyone gets a hot shower.

  • Check-in We offer complimentary early check-in when possible for direct book customers, but on peak days, check-in is after 5:00 PM.
  • Check-out by 10:00 AM
  • Guests 20 maximum, including infants
  • Age primary guest 27 or older; most other adults 25 or older
  • No pets, smoking, or parties
  • Payment 40% at booking, 60% due 61 days before arrival
  • Cancellation Full refund, less a $250 taxable cancellation fee, if you cancel at least 60 days before arrival. No refunds within 60 days of arrival.
  • Damage deposit $1,000 pre-authorization, 2 days before arrival
How close is Black Bear 32 to the slopes?

The ski access point is just outside the back door, between the units, and the Powderidge lift is close by. The free shuttle covers the rest of the resort.

Is the deck furniture out in winter?

The grill, seating, and fire pit table are set out in bike season. They may be put away in winter when the deck is covered in snow and ice. The hot tub stays open.

Can Black Bear 32 be booked with Black Bear 33?

Yes. Book both side-by-side townhomes together for 14 bedrooms and room for 36. Each home keeps its own front door.

Monica's place in Snowshoe was perfect for the needs of our group. The house was spacious with plenty of rooms, lots of cookware in the kitchen, and easy access out the front and back of the house. Monica was very responsive leading up to the trip and I would highly recommend booking this place for your visit to Snowshoe!

Black Bear 32 was AmazingThe place had everything we needed , from stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, silverware, dishes you could need and then some, the beds where very comfortable, hot tub was amazing. Monica was on top of everything and messaged me after our arrival making sure everything was good. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and letting us make great memories at Black Bear 33
